We’ve been doing Friday night pizzas a lot lately & it’s always fun trying new homemade pizza topping combos. It has become a fun tradition in our house.
I love topping mine with tons of veggies, trying different sauces, and a sprinkle of cheese. The girls like to keep it really simple. 🙂
For the crust, we love using Trader Joe’s frozen Cauliflower Pizza Crust, or their pre-made pizza dough in the refrigerated section. Both are delicious!
Some of my favorite toppings combos are:
🥦 Pesto, broccoli, mushrooms, tomato, artichoke hearts & white cheddar or goat cheese. You can saute the mushrooms and broccoli beforehand in a pan with a little extra virgin olive oil, salt & pepper before putting them on the pizza.

🥒 Pesto, zucchini, mushrooms, grape tomatoes, broccoli & mozzarella pieces. I like to saute the zucchini, mushrooms and broccoli for a few minutes in a pan with a little extra virgin olive oil, salt & pepper before putting them on the pizza. I love how the grape tomatoes burst when you eat this pizza.

🍅 Marinara, mushrooms, black olives, bell peppers, zucchini, salami & mozzarella.
My girls love:
🍅 Marinara, black olives & mozzarella. So simple and they love it.
🥑 A pizza from the Trader Joe’s Cookbook- Vegetarian called South of the Border Pizza. We use salsa as the sauce topped with pinto beans & cheddar cheese. Then, once it’s baked, topped with guac & cilantro.

We love using @traderjoes cauliflower pizza crust or their pre-made pizza dough. Have you tried them?

If you want more homemade pizza inspo, I have a Pinterest board HERE with a bunch of fun pizza combos I’m looking forward to testing out too.
What’s your favorite pizza combo? I love trying new ones!
We’re trying your South of the Border pizza tonight. Brad is very skeptical – I’m very excited!
I hope you guys enjoy it!
