Most of the things I read, buy and try I find out through other people’s suggestions both in real life and online. I like hearing about books, podcasts, products, recipes and tips that others have found helpful and trying them out for myself. So I thought I’d start sharing a roundup of my favorite things from the past few months.
Especially now, when you may be in need of some little things that bring you happiness. Hopefully you’ll find something to read, listen to or try out too!
Recipes & food
These Salted Chocolate Chip Cookies from Imagine & Co. are delicious! I like to try different chocolate chip cookie recipes every once in a while and these are my latest favorite. I love the salt sprinkle on the top, and using Kerrygold butter makes these taste extra creamy and rich. Yum.

Dark Chocolate Almond & Sea Salt Bark Thins. These are so good! They’re perfect when I’m craving something sweet but don’t want to make something. Plus, they’re rich enough that I’ll only have a bit. And the ingredients are all real and minimal, which is always good, especially with a store-bought treat. 🙂

Purchases
I ordered this cute wood and marble West Elm cutting board and I can’t wait to use it for a wine and cheese date night. Alex and I like doing a cheese plate with a couple cheeses, crackers, fruit and chocolate with wine after the girls to go bed. This is the perfect little cutting board for that. 🙂

Living Proof Dry Shampoo and Dry Volume Blast. I have thin hair that also needs dry shampoo in between washes and these products have been the best I’ve found. They smell good and actually work. I use the Dry Volume Blast after styling my hair and it instantly gives my fine hair a boost. I love these products!

Books & podcasts & shows
A Discovery Of Witches by Deborah Harkness. This is the first of a trilogy and it’s really good. It’s a mix of the Twilight series, Harry Potter and Dan Brown books. A good friend introduced these to me and I’m excited to keep reading the books and then watch the tv series. This book has been a good distraction. 🙂

Becoming on Netflix. The book is also on my book wishlist, but I really enjoyed watching this behind the scenes peek with former First Lady Michelle Obama. It was interesting, and heartfelt, and touched on some really relevant issues right now.

Capitalism.com Podcast with Ryan Daniel Moran. If you’re interested in business podcasts, this one has some really great episodes. Similar to NPR’s How I Built This, some of the episodes are interviews with entrepreneurs about how their business began like this one with the owner of Prymal coffee creamer; other episodes are interviews focused on growth and learning like this 2-part series with Brook Castillo. I also really enjoyed his book, 12 Months to $1 Million.

What are some of your favorite things lately?! I’ve shared more of my favorite things HERE too. Hopefully you’ll find something interesting to check out or try. Let me know if you do, or if you have any favorite finds too. 🙂
