I’m not a big shopper and I don’t like having a lot of stuff around, so when I come across things that are practical and pretty, it’s a total win-win.
I thought I’d share a few things that I’m loving right now, like a recipe I want to try, some delicious snacks, a new hand soap and a few other things.
One. African Bolga Basket: I’m slowly planning baby girl’s nursery and am planning to have a basket, like this African Bolga basket to hold stuffed animals and toys. In both girls rooms I have something similar that is a catch-all for things and it makes clean-up super quick, which is always a plus. There are tons of colors and sizes of these too.
Two. Purely Elizabeth Original Ancient Grain Granola: I came across Purely Elizabeth granola through Instagram and when I found it at Target, had to give it a try. The Ancient Grain Granola is my favorite so far. I love that they’re larger clusters and packed with healthiness like quinoa, sunflower seeds, amaranth and chia seeds. It’s a little higher in sugar than I’d like, but I usually don’t have a full serving since it’s usually with yogurt.
Three. Glitter Guide’s 5 Tips for Decorating a Family-Friendly Home: I love hearing about how people design their homes to be beautiful and kid-friendly. I found all of these tips helpful, but especially having washable fabrics, like pillow covers, slipcovers, etc.
Four. Raw Sugar Natural Hand Soap in Raw Coconut + Mango: I’m really picky when it comes to scented products, like candles, lotions and hand soap. This hand soap smells so sweet but not overpowering. Plus, what sold me was its message too. It’s a little more expensive than I typically spend on hand soap, but when you buy it, a bar of soap is donated to someone in need. And the packaging is beautiful too. 🙂 http://rawsugarliving.com/raw-coconut-mango/
Five. Lovely Little Kitchen’s Honey Bran Muffins: Almost every week as part of my Sunday meal prep, I make healthy muffins to eat as snacks during the week. I haven’t tested these out yet, but I love how much protein they have with yogurt, chia and flax seeds. I will be giving these a try soon!
Six. Siggi’s Yogurt: What I love about this yogurt is that it has more protein than sugar, and it’s sweetened with fruit and/or all-natural sugar. It’s thick and creamy and has become one of my favorite mid-day snacks, with Purely Elizabeth granola. 🙂 My favorite flavors so far have been the vanilla and mixed berries and acai.
Have you tried any of these items? What are you loving lately?
