My Costco shopping list: the Costco items I buy all the time β favorite Costco staple items
We shop at Costco 1-2 times a month and make a big haul. We’re a family of 5 and have a 2nd fridge/freezer in the garage so we’re able to stock up on stuff. Otherwise we’d probably make a Costco run weekly. π
[Also, a little tip that saves me a ton of time: Since we buy the same items from Costco, I keep a note in my iPhone with our list, and can easily check the item off if I don’t need it. And check off the item as I shop. I also do this for my Trader Joe’s staples.]
I thought it would be fun to share my favorite Costco staple items, the goodies I grab almost every time I make a trip to Costco.
Favorite Costco staple items:

Kodiak Cakes
We stock up on these from Costco because they’re so good and not always in stock! We use them to make pancakes and waffles about once a week (we follow the directions for added protein with almond milk and eggs).

Kirkland Pure Maple Syrup
Great for baking, and topping our Kodiak cakes pancakes.

Aidells Chicken & Apple Sausage
We keep this in the freezer and add it to pasta, eggs, grill it. It’s so versatile for quick meals.

Organic Black Chia Seeds
Perfect for making chia seed pudding and banana chia muffins!

Organic Frozen Fruit
I alternate between buying this blend and a berry blend for my morning smoothies.

Organic Fuji Apples
We eat a lot of apples, so we love this large pack of apples. They’re sweet and delicious and great with peanut butter. π

Kirkland Organic Creamy Peanut Butter
We eat a lot of peanut butter in our house so we stock up on this 2-pack. Tip: Cut a small “x” in the top of the paper seal then use a handheld mixer and attachment to mix the peanut butter until it’s super creamy.

Dave’s Killer Bread 21 Whole Grains
We buy this 2 pack in bulk and keep it in our freezer. It’s a delicious bread full of lots of good-for-you grains and seeds.

Organic Indian Madras Lentils
This is the easiest and quickest dinner, and it’s healthy too. We serve it over brown jasmine rice. It’s our go-to dinner when we need something super quick or I don’t feel like cooking.

Kirkland Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon
This is a great frozen wild salmon. It’s individually sealed so you can thaw as many as you need.

Kerrygold Pure Irish Butter
This is the best butter! It’s so rich and creamy. I can taste a difference using it when I bake cookies too.

Organic Canned Black Beans
We eat a lot of black beans so these come in handy for black bean fajitas, rice and beans and so many other dinners!

Annie’s Mac & Cheese
My girls love this stuff and it’s good for a quick lunch at home.

Avocado Oil
We use this a lot in cooking. We also fill our Misto with this too which turns it into an oil mist.

Cholula Hot Sauce
My husband loves this stuff on everything.

100% Extra Virgin Olive Oil
I use this a lot for roasting veggies and fish.

Kirkland NorCal Raw Unfiltered Honey
We add this to oatmeal and bake with it.

Kirkland Organic Virgin Coconut Oil
I love using this when I make scrambled eggs, and it’s also great for baking.

Kirkland Unsalted Cashews
These are really good for a quick, healthy snack. My girls love them too. Also great for making vegan Caesar salad dressing.

Mary’s Gone Crackers Everything
These are really good gluten-free crackers. Great dipped in guac or hummus or with cheese.

Organic Baby Spinach
Perfect for adding in eggs, smoothies and casseroles. Tip: If you can’t use it all before it goes bad, put the rest in a freezer ziplock bag and freeze it. Then use it for smoothies.

Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides
I add this to my coffee every morning. I think it has helped my postpartum hair loss and I like that it has not only collagen but protein too.

ZBar
This comes in a 3-flavor pack and my girls like these for quick on-the-go snacks.
