With the holidays coming up, I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite things from 2020 that would make awesome gifts for a friend, neighbor, sister, mom, yourself, any woman in your life. A wellness gift guide for her!
These items are random but have brought me joy in 2020. They’re things I’ve found helpful, been heavily used, brought happiness, and helped me live healthier and happier this year.
I’m really purposeful in my purchases because I don’t like a lot of stuff. I research things before buying, and know that if I can’t stop thinking of something, that’s when I should buy it. I also love gifting and getting practical things. With that being said, here are my favorite purchases from this year. I hope you find something for yourself or someone else!
20 Favorite Purchases in 2020: A Wellness Gift Guide for Her!

Simply Real Eating Cookbook
I’ve used this cookbook so so many times this year. I have a post HERE where I share my favorite recipes from it. I love that Sarah shares healthy living and eating tips throughout the cookbook too.

Clare Elsaesser Art Prints
I’ve been eyeing Clare Elsaesser’s beautiful art for years now and finally bought 2 prints. I love them so much, every time I look at them I smile. They’re so beautiful.
The prints I purchased are Married to the Sea and Asleep.

Wood Marble Cheese Board
I bought this Marble & Wood Cutting Board during one of West Elm’s sales and I love it for creating a beautiful cheese board. Alex & I love doing at-home date nights of wine and a cheese board and this is perfect to use. (I have a post HERE too about our favorite Trader Joe’s ingredients for creating a cheese/charcuterie board.)
I also have this food grade mineral oil for keeping the wood hydrated.

Plant Therapy Essential Oils
I love Plant Therapy essential oils because they’re 100% pure essential oils and have certified-organic and kid-friendly lines. And the prices are great! The brand is awesome and the scents are good. My favorite oils to diffuse are Sweet Orange, Lavendar, Lemon, Pink Grapefuit.
Some of my favorite diffusing combos are:
Lavendar & Lemon in the evening for a calming scent
Sweet Orange & Pink Grapefuit for an energizing citrus scent. Great for the morning.
Also, this is the diffuser I love.

Indoor Planters
I have so many indoor plants, they make me so happy! Some of my favorite planters are from West Elm. I have this Herringbone one and this art deco-inspired one and love them both.

Black Fleece
So so cozy and cute. I love the animal print detail at the pocket. This Nordstrom Thread & Supply Fleece Pullover is the perfect quarantine fleece. 🙂
(For reference, I’m 5’4″ and I got an XS and it fits perfectly.)

CRZ High-Waisted Yoga Pants
These are Lululemon dupes and they’re so buttery soft. I have 3 pair and want more. 🙂 They wash well, are high waisted and come in a bunch of colors. Plus the price is super affordable.
I have them in black, camo and shading blue. They have some purple leopard print ones I may be buying soon! 🙂 (For reference, I’m 5’4″ and have them in small and fit perfectly.)

Garmin 4Runner Watch
For a long time I used a Fitbit but Alex bought me this Garmin 4Runner Watch and I wear it daily now. I love that it’s easy to set for a workout, tracks my heart-rate, calories burned, intensity of it, etc. An added bonus is that it vibrates when I get a text or call too.

Citrus Squeezer
I love added fresh citrus to dinners. Lime to tacos and fajitas, lemon to salad or curry. So good! This squeezer makes it easy, and my girls love doing it too! A great kitchen gadget to have.

Living Proof Hair Care
I have thin hair and these 2 Living Proof hair products have been amazing. I love the Dry Shampoo for non-hair-washing days and the Dry Volume Blast for other days. They both really give my hair volume. Plus, I’m really picky about smells and they both smell good and fresh.

I’ve been listening to The Lazy Genius podcast for a while now and was super excited when I found out Kendra was writing a book! I love her approach to living a life full of the things you love and learning to care less about the things you don’t.
Grab the book HERE.
(I highly recommend the podcast because it’s full of such practical tips about everything from cleaning to calendars to seasons, and they’re short episodes so you can listen while doing dishes.)

Nikki Banas Quotes Print
Nikki Banas’ quotes are so inspiring. Maybe you’ve seen them shared on Instagram or Pinterest? I haven’t read her books yet, but love reading her quotes. I have this Nourish quote framed in our kitchen nook and I love it.

Acure Skin Products
I love Acure face products because they’re clean, smell great and work well too. I use this cleansing gel with pomegranate, blackberry and acai, this brightening day cream and this scrub made of sea kelp and green clay. These would make great stocking stuffers or a small gift for a friend.

Leopard iPhone Case
I love animal print. Shoes, accessories, fabric! And I love this leopard iPhone case too. It’s fun and has held up really well through my girls grabbing my phone too. 😉

OK I got this just before 2020, but it’s usefulness really kicked in during 2020. When we’re all home, 24/7. I love making brown rice in it, curry, soups. It’s been a workhorse in the kitchen this year!
I have this 6-quart one and it’s the perfect size for our family of 5.

This tea satisfies my sweet tooth in the evening. I love having it after dinner as we’re getting the girls ready for bed because it tastes delicious and it relaxes and calms me. Plus I love Yogi’s positive tea tag messages. 🙂

Arbonne Protein Powder
I’ve been loving this Arbonne vanilla protein powder this year. It has been perfect for my morning smoothies and I love that it has 24 vitamins and minerals.
If you’re interested in trying this protein powder (or any Arbonne product), I can’t recommend my good friend Allison enough! Check out the products HERE.

Pizza Peeler
If you like making homemade pizzas, this peeler is awesome! It helps peel the pizza dough from one surface to the board, to the grill.
(I have a post HERE too of our favorite homemade pizza combos. 🙂 )

The Nester Books
Since we’re all home more than ever, I think a lot of people (myself included) are trying to make their homes function and look better. I was introduced to The Nester by a friend and I love her approach to interior design.
You can follow her on Instagram HERE. I also have her books The Cozy Minimalist Home and Welcome Home.

Cozy V-Neck Tunic
I love the look of turtle- and cowl-neck sweaters, but I don’t love clothing that’s too restricting around my neck. This sweater is both cozy and I don’t feel suffocating in it. 🙂
I got it in Heather Grey, in an XS and it’s a good length to wear with leggings (it’s pretty long to wear with jeans though).
I hope these ideas helped if you’re looking to buy something for yourself, a friend, a sister, or someone else in your life. These items have been my most-used products in 2020!
If you have any of these, or purchase any of these, let me know in the comment section below how you like them too! 🙂
