The other day I bought a really cute sweatshirt with a little shimmer—perfect for feeling a little fancier in something super comfy. And I loved the fit and style and then saw on the tag that it’s a brand that also helps empower youth. And now I love the sweatshirt even more because of that.
I love finding brands or products that give back and support awesome causes.
It also got me thinking of some of the other brands I love because of that same reason—they give back. We all know the TOMS shoes story, but there are a ton of other impact brands too. When I find a product or brand that is awesome and then find that it’s also a brand that gives back, I’m a lifelong customer. I love supporting causes with my purchases. It’s such a simple and powerful way to support causes that are close to your heart through a purchase.
So today I wanted to share with you 5 brands I’m loving lately that also give back! Plus a sneak peek into a brand I’m starting with my girlfriend that will also give back with every purchase. If you have a favorite purpose-driven brand, comment below, I’d love to check them out! Here are a few of my favorites:
1. Endangered Species Chocolate

I love chocolate and when I came across these chocolate bars with the cute elephant on the package, I was intrigued. Then I flipped it over and learned that not only are these chocolate bars made from real ingredients, it’s a brand that also supports animal conservation. Endangered Species Chocolate donates 10% of their annual net profits to wildlife conservation organizations. And since 2016, they’ve given back more than $2.6 million to conservation organizations. And each chocolate bar brings awareness to a different animal. So amazing!
A few of my favorite flavors are Almonds, Sea Salt + Dark Chocolate (bringing awareness to the Eurasian Eagle-Owl); Caramel, Sea Salt + Dark Chocolate (bringing awareness to the Bald Eagle); and Hazelnut, Toffee + Dark Chocolate (bringing awareness to the Black Rhino).
2. Raw Sugar Living
Honestly I was first drawn to this brand when I saw the cute and simple hand soap container with the bamboo top. Then it was the smell. I’m really picky about the scents of soaps and these smell amazing. And then I read about their mission. To date, they’ve donated more than 15 million bars of soap and hand sanitizers to people in need! Now, it’s the only hand soap I buy. I also love their body wash and shampoos and conditioners for my girls. They don’t test their products on animals, and they’re plant-based ingredients, which I also love.
A few of my favorite scents are Raw Coconut + Mango; Watermelon + Fresh Mint; and Pineapple + Maqui Berry + Coconut.
3. Cora
If you’re looking to try a natural tampon, these are my favorite. Plus, they give back in amazing ways. Every time you make a Cora purchase, they give back through tampons, pads and health education to those in need in India, Kenya and the United States. Their products are also sustainable, their tampons are made with 100% organic cotton and BPA-free applicators.
4. Treasure & Bond Nordstrom Brand
Treasure & Bond is a sustainable brand through Nordstrom and I recently came across their products. This is the sweatshirt I mentioned above. And after finding out the brand also financially gives back to help youth homelessness, I love it even more. Treasure & Bond gives back 2.5% of their net sales to organizations that help provide a safe environment, growth and support for kids experiencing homelessness. Amazing, right?
You can check out their line of products HERE.
5. The Little Market
This is a fair-trade company with tons of really cute items made by artisans and sourced from refugees, women making the transition out of homelessness, domestic violence survivors and other underserved groups. It’s co-founded by Lauren Conrad and has one-of-a-kind items like handmade baskets, hand-painted Moroccan ceramic trays, hand-molded drinking glasses, hand-carved wild olive wood bowls handmade in Kenya and other beautiful goodies. I also love that they share the story behind the artisans and materials.

Good & Kind Co.
I’m also excited to share a business my girlfriend and I are launching very soon, that will also give back. We are in the middle of creating our first product: a simple, classic closet staple—the perfect white tee for women—and a portion of our proceeds will go back to an organization that fights human trafficking. We’re both really passionate about this and have big plans for Good & Kind Co. You can follow along on Instagram @goodandkindco and sign up HERE to join our list to be the first to know when we launch. I can’t wait to share more very soon!
Supporting businesses and brands that give back to our communities is such an awesome win-win. Do you have favorite brands that give back? Tell me below—I would love to check them out!
